Cater-Force Engineers worked in conjunction with one of the leading Commercial Kitchen Design houses in the UK, Vision Commercial Kitchens, to Install and Commission the kitchen equipment at the new Wagyu restaurant in Harrogate. The site on Parliament street was previously operated as one of Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurants, and due to their financial difficulties this became one of the first of his restaurants to close.
The premises have sat empty for some time since its closure even though it’s a prime location within Harrogate. The new Wagyu restaurant is independently owned and backed up by their award wining farm near Pocklington. Wagyu beef is said to be a lot healthier and flavourful than standard beef, and as such gives the restaurant a Unique Selling Point compared to its competitors.
This is the second Wagyu restaurant opened by the Yorkshire based company, the first being opened in York earlier this year. We wish the Wagyu team all the best for the future, we’re hopeful their concept will allow them to operate in Harrogate for many years to come!
