Today marks the opening of the Great Yorkshire Show. Known as England’s premier agricultural show it’s held annually at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. Over the three days the show attracts around 130,000 visitors which provides a much needed boost to the hospitality industry and local businesses within the area.
The weather looks to be favourable this year which will encourage larger visitor numbers and a further boost to the local economy. If you haven’t been before it’s well worth a visit as there’s plenty to do and see for adults and children. There will also be an opportunity to see many of our local chefs along with some well know TV chefs cooking up some tasty treats using the finest local produce.
If you’re not going then we would advise avoiding the south side of Harrogate as the volume of traffic will be immense. Here at Cater-Force we wish all involved a wonderful three days!
