Happy Valentine’s day to all of our Yorkshire customers from everyone at Cater-Force. If anyone has forgotten the date then there’s probably still time to buy some overpriced Roses or book a romantic meal for two at a local restaurant.
At this time of year we feel it’s important to support your locally based restaurants, pubs and inns. With the dining out sector being such a competitive market place, occasions such as Valentines day gives us an excuse to show our support.
Some little known facts about Valentine’s day include; In 1537, Henry VII officially declared 14th February to be the holiday of St. Valentine’s Day; Every Valentine’s Day, the Italian City of Verona, where Shakespeare’s lovers Romeo and Juliet lived, receives around 1000 letters addressed to Juliet; Teachers receive the most Valentine’s cards, followed by children, mothers and wives but around 3% of pet owners will give Valentine’s Day gifts to their pets.
